AUTUMN
As autumn approaches, we start to feel the change in energy.
Darker slower more introverted, spiritual and intellectual.
Autumn is a transition season from light to darkness, from outside inward, from spending energy to conserving energy, from grasping to releasing.
On our coming Autumn Retreat, we will explore more of the
Releasing. Letting Go.
Letting Go of what is no longer serving us.
Letting go of thoughts/feelings,
Harmful behaviour,
Unused items,
A person …
Letting go of the past, understanding that what has happened should have happened.
Letting go of all “if only…” Letting go of the anger about… The fear from…
The expectations.
Release the grasp on the familiar to free space to the new and cultivate a sense of movement.
Like the tree that releases its old leaves to preserve its energy for winter, knowing that in springtime new ones will grow instead.
Letting go is choosing to change, we tend not to want to change, unless the change is forced upon us.
But wouldn’t it be nice to release like the beautiful release of the trees?
With their marvelous colors yellows – oranges – reds – browns.
A celebration of letting go.
Which has always attracted the attention and reflection of artists and writers.
You can be like them!
You can become the creator, responsible for the change to appear.
Take the time to reflect on the things you would be happy to shed and leave behind, the things you wish to let go of this year. To create some space in our life.
Making our lives lighter by releasing unnecessary busyness.
Life is a balance between
Holding on and letting go
– Rumi
Wherever you are, make sure you put aside time to get out to nature and savor the autumn.
As we enter this season of letting go, I invite you to join us at our upcoming Autumn Retreat. Together, we will explore the power of release, both physically and emotionally, through mindfulness, movement, and creative expression. Come and experience how the practice of letting go can open up space for new growth and transformation in your life.
