My teacher, Goenka, is saying during our vipassana

My teacher, Goenka, is saying during our vipassana practice :"Keep observing the universal low of impermanence. Everything is constantly changing." and the practice of Vipassana is the practice of being able to maintain perfect equanimity while observing the situation, keeping in mind that all is temporary and will change too.
.
Changes 🦋 Can be scary. Mostly because it means we will have to deal with the unknown. And we, humans, we like the familiar and are not so happy to change it.
But from time to time, changes are good for us. It supports our growth and helps us develop in different directions.
Finding the balance between the familiar and the new is important. To keep ourselves flexible and welcoming the changes that come with life, naturally.
Like the Buddha said: "Change is the only constant in life," so we better learn to accept it.

When was the last time you did something new? Unfamiliar for you? When did you take a chance on a new experience?
.
When you do that, you’ll get to expose yourself to new circumstances, and that is when we learn about ourselves the most. Isn't it exciting? 😊

GaYoga name came when I had on mind the mixture of yoga and dance therapy.
.
But you can't really mix them together because yoga is a very structured method, the construction is what actually enables its meditative nature, the movements are structured, and the focus is directed to the breath. The release from the thought of how to do things, knowing what the next movement is, allows peace of mind.
.
I wanted to convey this nature also through the movement, a movement freed from thought or concern about how to dance or what the result is. A movement that allows you to be in the moment, in connection with your body.
.
And is how the GaYoga Move developed. The classes I teach are yoga and movement, and in my retreats, I combine classes of both.
This is an opportunity to experience something different. A total fun & release of mind. The healing power of body movement.
